- What is included in the free Dock plan?
- Dock gives you one register, one stock room, and core point of sale, including barcodes, label printing, and product bundles (combos that pull stock from their parts). That is enough to run a real shift on a single counter. Stock transfers and automatic product photo background removal are not included; move to Sailor when you need those tools.
- Does Dock include product photo background removal?
- No. On Dock you can still upload product photos. GreenSails resizes them for the catalog, POS, and boards. Automatic background removal starts on Sailor, with an organization default you can override per category or item.
- Can I print barcode labels without a specialty printer?
- Yes. From Items, open Print label and choose Browser to print a Code128 sheet on any office or label printer. Pair an ESC/POS or ZPL sticky-label printer on a POS under Settings → Labels when you want thermal labels, then choose Terminal in the same dialog to send the job to that register. Barcodes and label printing are included on every plan, including Dock.
- Can I sell a combo that uses stock from several products?
- Yes. Edit the combo under Catalog → Items, add Bundle components (for example burger, fries, and drink), and turn Track stock off on the combo itself. Each sale removes those parts from the location that took the order. Cancel or refund puts them back. Product bundles are included on every plan, including Dock.
- What counts as a register (Crew Station)?
- Any device your staff logs into: a cash register, tableside tablet, kitchen screen, or back-office computer. Each active session counts toward your plan limit.
- What is a stock room (Cargo Hold)?
- A separate inventory location you track in GreenSails: your main storeroom, active kitchen line, or walk-in chiller. Each room is counted independently.
- What are stock transfers?
- A transfer moves items from one of your stock rooms or locations to another, for example storeroom to bar. You draft the list, ship it out, then check it in at the destination. Transfers start on Sailor and are unlimited on Sailor and above.
- Can I add registers without upgrading my plan?
- Yes. Extra registers and stock rooms bill at flat monthly rates from your dashboard. When add-ons cost more than the next plan, we show you an upgrade recommendation.
- Is Fleet available on monthly billing?
- Fleet is billed annually at $22,500 JMD per month equivalent. Sailor and Captain offer both monthly and annual billing.
- When do I need the Armada plan?
- Armada is for large groups and enterprise operators who exceed Fleet limits: more than 10 registers or 10 stock rooms. Pricing uses volume rates with a $35,000 JMD monthly minimum.
- How far back can I see sales on the free Dock plan?
- Dock includes a 7-day sales history, enough to review your latest week of revenue, payment mix, and top sellers. Sailor and above unlock unlimited history.
- Are these limits active today?
- The limits on this page reflect our planned structure. Full billing limits roll out in a future release. During early access, accounts may have broader access while we finish setup.
- Which plan includes workforce management?
- Workforce management, including the schedule calendar, employee roster, time cards, request approvals, and the staff portal, starts on Captain. Dock and Sailor do not include workforce tools.
- What happens when I hit a limit?
- Your dashboard shows an upgrade path, similar to the smart upgrade example when add-ons cost more than the next plan. You can add gear à la carte or move to the next plan.
